Awesome mod, but it's a total buzz kill to download it slowly through the browser. It would be legendary if in future versions you had a torrent download so people can download and enjoy the mod faster. Just a recommendation. Again, fantastic work on a fantastic mod.

Hello, i'm using 7launcher to play. I've read the Readme and edited the rev.ini to csso -insecure but when i use the launcher to play it automatically rewrite the revini back to cstrike and won't launch at all. Any suggestions? Thank you

You need your server to send the HTTP header Content-Disposition: attachment along with the file you want to download rather than display in the browser. How you do this depends entirely on what server software you're using.
With SmartScreen off, you are on your own about which files to download in Edge, but I would urge you to go back and toggle SmartScreen on when you have finished downloading your file. And, of course, only turn it off to download files you know to be safe.
In Windows Defender, you can also change Edge's SmartScreen to merely warn you when you are about to download a file it deems suspicious instead of it outright blocking it. You'll be able to click through the warning and override SmartScreen's concerns and download the file.
